Biliary Atresia is a congenital disease of the liver wherein a person's bile duct is absent. Bile duct is responsible for draining bile from the liver.
Luke Andrei needs to undergo Liver Transplantation in order to stay alive.
Liver transplantation costs P4,000,000 (USD93,000) in Taiwan. The family opted to have Luke's liver transplant in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital because of the 97% success rate.
Majority of our financial resource goes to Luke's supplemental therapy and maintenance drugs. We could not afford the amount needed for the liver transplantation. We are seeking for your help.
